Off the Shelf is starting a new column called "Librarians of the Past" in which we will feature biographical information about one of our UK Library forefather or, as is more typically the case, foremothers. We'll try to feature a picture or two if we can find them from Explore UK or possibly other sources.
So far, we've gotten a lot of help and guidance from Nancy Demarcus and the rest of the folks in University Archives -- so thanks! I'm sure we'll be asking for more!
